Personal milestone, I've started on the other side of my patch jacket.

Very nice, and fitting.

@ Guardian, I've been thinking about doing two more patches, on the left chest pocket.
the first is a classic alien symbol, then right below it, crossed wrenches.

to represent 3 things, the first is my love of space and the unknown, the second, the right to repair and the ability to fix things myself.
and finally the third, when you combine the two you get a new type of jolly roger, which originally represented independence from corporate, political, and national control, that you were declaring yourself separate from it.

to me that says the most of anything else I might sew on.
a love of space, a skilled mechanic, engineer, and inventor/tinkerer, and finally, a desire to shrug off the shackles of control that those in power have.

also, new personal milestone.

Skill get: Basic/Intermediate Plumbing: Repair/maint/Install.
