How fast can you type?

I can type at about 90 words per minute personally. What's your typing speed?

I've clocked at the most 75 wpm.

I guess my typing speed is pretty good. I can type at 82 wpm.

I have never really checked out my typing speed i know i am pretty rubbish at it i am not fast but slow i take my time

103 wpm is a very good typing speed. You type faster than average people.

Yeah that is a pretty good typing speed. I've never been able to make it past about 90 or so personally.

I do not type very fast. I think this will obsolete in our lifetime because of touch screen and voice input.

I actually prefer to type than to use voice input personally. It's too easy to evesdrop on voice input... Tongue

I do agree that typing will probably be used a lot less as mobile devices become more popular though.

I clocked in around 70WPM, however I messed certain words because of them using American spelling. Although I'd read "neighbor" I'd instinctively type out "neighbour"... even typing it without the U in this post felt really odd...

110 WPM but I also type over the course of 10 hours per night 4 nights a week at my job... I started out around 92 2 years ago so... yeah.

my typing is horrible..i use the pecking method whenever i can. and because of that, i make a lot of correctable typos.
