Wow. Sounds like a rough time... maybe time to scrap it? Sounds like the upkeep adds up fast.
After I wrecked my car and insurance totaled it, I was still able to sell it to a scrap yard for $900. Granted, it was a bit newer of a vehicle than yours (7 years at the time), but there's still potential there. Old Honda's are relatively popular.
