Personally, I like red, blue, and coffee-stain themes the most. Of course, a well done green or orange theme is great as well. Really, as long as it isn't bland, I'm happy one way or another.
What are your general color preferences?

I generally prefer green, followed by blue and then orange or brown. But like you mentioned, as long as it isn't boring, I'm good.
My own site has green elements, with a largely purple toned background, so I'm definitely expanding my colour horizons on web design.
