Wisdom teeth - wasi90lk - July 26th, 2013

I am really having troubles with my wisdoom teeth. I am afraid, I will have to pull these teeth out.

Does anyone here have wisdom teeth problem?

I had mine pulled about a year ago. It's a surprisingly intense surgery apparently, but they put you to sleep during the entire surgery. It only took a week to recover from the surgery, so it was worth it in the long run.

Yes I know they put you to sleep and you are likely to not feel anything.

Still I am scared about the surgery.

I've never particularly enjoyed having any kind of surgery done either, personally. Wisdom teeth removal wasn't as bad as I had expected, but I was definitely quite nervous going in as well.

It's one of those things that's nice to get over with. I'm glad I won't have to worry about that anymore in the future.

I've had wisdom teeth removed while I was awake, but they still use an anesthetic in the area which they're working in. It's not too bad, your regular over-the-counter painkiller should be enough to take care of the pain afterwards and you get used to the feeling of missing teeth rather quickly.
