Can't really be compared. I like Star Trek more than Star Wars personally, but I enjoy both.

Finally saw Star Trek Beyond. I still need to see Into Darkness.
I will say, the new Star Trek movies are giving Star Wars a run for their money. Still happy to see both making movies actively again!

my main complaint about startrek XI XII and XIII is that they toned down the intellectual side a bit too much, though XIII/Beyond actually felt more like startrek than Startrek 2009 and Startrek into darkness.
