You can buy one from Wal-Mart for $5.

I have one, but it's not activated yet as you must be 18 to have one and I don't turn 18 until the 26th. Just a little interesting link I figured I'd share.

Since it functions as both a prepaid debit card and bank account, you can also activate your PayPal with the card!

$5 doesn't sound bad. I might give it a try sometime.

Yeah, it's really nice too as they don't charge a ridiculous amount of fees like certain prepaid cards.

Green Dot charges $10 a month to keep the card active, Bluebird charges nothing.
Green Dot charges $4.95 to re-load your card, Bluebird doesn't.
etc.

Only fee I can think of is the $2 charge for a non-network ATM.

Yeah, that's quite nice. Money is pretty tight for me right now, so fewer fees = better.
