Another advantage is that MyBB is much easier to use when it comes to installing plugins and doing administration as well. It will allow us to install some neat plugins for awards badges, etc... fairly soon, so we have much more control in the long run.

PSA: UbuntuForums has been hacked. If you use the same password on UbuntuForums as you do here or elsewhere, it's absolutely NECESSARY in my opinion to change them.

I don't use UbuntuForums, so I don't have to worry

I don't either, but it did remind me that you should ALWAYS have a strong password, in case a forum does get hacked. The passwords had MD5 encryption (they were also salted), but guessing isn't very far-fetched, especially if your password uses common words or phrases in it.

Yeah, I guess it's better than nothing though.

I don't use passwords that really have words in them. Random strings of characters usually work better haha.
