A pair of used Michael Jordan sneakers fetched a record price at an auction in New York. The basketball legend's "Nike Air Jordan 1S" sneakers were auctioned for $ 560,000, equivalent to € 517,000 - a record for a pair of sneakers, the auction house Sotheby’s announced on Sunday. The estimated price was $ 150,000.
I can't imagine how people pay these sums o money for... shoes or any other trinkets that really are worthless. Baffling.
Why would you want to own shoes that someone else has worn? Even if it is someone as famous as Michael Jordan, it still just seems gross to me.
Well I wouldn't do that either, but people are just stupid enough to buy such things, others buy old furniture, expensive money
Yeah, it seems weird to me... especially since they're not even from when he was in his prime!

But, as long as it's not my money being spent, I don't really care Tongue .
I guess it's less bad I buy "broken" technology for cheap and fix it up instead lol.
