I partially run a Nation roleplay site, its like a sc4 union but we don't really care much for what game the pictures come from. Although the roleplaying is legislative and bill oriented, not much *I declare war on you*, but instead *lets come to an agreement/disagreement on an issue and vote on its passing*.

http://www.cinl.org/ is the link.

Side note:

This is one place I use my maps for (not including the non-earth ones). I also made the webpage, and I still forgot to change some of the lorem ipsum into actual text. Tongue
That's a very nice website, and it looks quite professional. I'll probably join later today. Big Grin
Seems to be the least BS-filled union I have seen. Nice work Forthwall, CINL actually seems appealing. Big Grin
Thanks, the guy who made it is a real heckler for realism. Tongue

That's a nice way to view other unions. Can't imagine what makes you think that.
Dunno... drama, arguments, being so anal about realism, being so strict and uptight, comes to mind?
Very nice work forth Smile
Yep, this union is totally absent of that...

I don't know where you get those ideas anyway regardless.

I'm sorry you do not like this union, but please do not spend all of your time on this site berating its member's and its members creations. There are much better things to on this site, such as make and discuss ideas Smile
Exactly. I'm entitled to my opinion about it.
I do agree that there are some unions that have more conflict than necessary, but you also can't judge one website based on the actions of another, so I don't think we can really judge this union based on the reputation that some feel other unions have. In order to make this board as beneficial as possible for webmasters to promote their websites, I would prefer that we keep discussion more positive in general in this board.

Thanks,

Look who is so high and mighty now...

I still have no idea why you are so against other unions. It just makes so sense to me.

Honestly, I think unions are great. I was actually only trying to make the statement that you can't really say unions in general are bad just because a couple have fallen apart. Although people are obviously entitled to their own opinons, I feel that, considering this is a promotional thread for a union, it is possible that the negativity from some users towards unions hasn't really been beneficial to the purpose of this thread.

I apologize for the confusion regarding that. In hindsight, I should have worded it much more clearly.
Of course I think unions are great, I also have nothing against this union. But it is worrying when someone calls another "BS" and make sweeping generalizations. But no worries Blake. Smile
Well, there's no need to explain ourselves. You hang onto your opinion and I'll have mine, alright? I'll judge things the way I want to.

I didn't [intend] mean all other unions are always filled with BS. I've been invited to join 2, I just didn't because at both times, both those unions had just come out of one of those periods. I suppose it is just partially awkward timing on both invitations, which has sort of turned me off those 2 unions specifically. I just don't find unions attractive because certain elements of unions are just sort of "meh" to me. I like doing my own thing I suppose. But if you have positive experiences, yay!
