I think I could make a thread like this :p

Well I like to make maps, all types and I will show you some I have :

And some satellite maps I have made :

Planet

Country Sat

Satilite Political Hybrid

Enjoy!
Very nice, I like the detail in the maps! Big Grin

How long does it usually take to create each one?
A few 15 minutes to 2 hours or so, but it depends on what I'm making, thank you by the way Smile
These are some great maps! Any sources that could be helpful in the mapmaking process. (I like the satellite ones, must be hard to make.)
A new map :

t3haco - Thanks! Satellite maps are actually very simple. all you need are sources of existing satellite images, a photo editing tool with clone stamp and a basic layout of what you need!
I like this one. It feels very polished and the detail is quite nice. Big Grin
As always, great job! It actually feels like a real road map!
Thanks guys Big Grin

This is a map of some islands, no major information because the chain isn't very big.

I like the natural "feel" of the map. It has some nice detail without feeling artificial. Nicely done. Big Grin
Now here's a new one that is basically an orthographic project of my country. This picture isn't 100% made by myself (because I took the wikipedia svg), but I had to add the new landmass and adjust it for my nation.

The picture in details is actually very minimalistic with very few curves; although it turns out to look exceptionally well from far away.
It has a lot of detail to it. I like the fact that it sits on the globe. It looks neat that way. Big Grin
I like the globe-style! Feels like a wikipedia map.
They looks shmexy!
