Personally, I have to say that Google Picasa remains one of my favorite programs when it comes to processing photos and making simple edits. While it may not be suitable for creating flashy logos or amazing designs, it does have all of the features you could need to perform simple edits quickly on photos from a camera, and I have found the GIMP to be a little much for simple edits. Any other picasa users here?
I'm not much of a photographer and I don't mind using photoshop for simple edits, so I don't use it. It looks nice though.
I use it mostly for very simple edits. My only camera is the 2MP camera on my phone, and it gets the colors all messed up, so I usually need to edit those afterwards.

I'm not particularly good with advanced photo editing. I think if I wanted to do that I'd have to invest in a better camera first. Tongue
I used to use google picasa, it was quite handy in arranging pictures, especially it could scan image by itself, if the device is connected with a scanner. However, the functions could be achieved through other simple tools also, so I don't use it that much any more.
